ACTE 2024 General Assembly

From Hilaturas Jesús Rubio S.A., we would like to share our gratitude and enthusiasm after hosting the recent general assembly of the European Textile Collectivities Association (ACTE), held in Igualada.

It was a real honour to receive in our facilities representatives from Macedonia, Portugal, Italy and Sweden.

WHAT IS THE European Textile Collectivities Association (ACTE)?

The European Textile Collectivities Association (ACTE) is an umbrella organisation for various public and private entities linked to the textile industry in Europe.

Its main objective is to promote and defend the interests of regions and localities with a strong presence in the textile, clothing, leather, footwear and fashion accessories sectors.

ACTE functions as a collaborative network that allows its members to share knowledge, experiences and best practices. This is done in order to strengthen competitiveness and innovation in the European textile industry.

The association also works to create policies that support the economic development and sustainability of its member regions, thus facilitating adaptation to global market changes and fostering growth in areas related to fashion and textiles.

In addition, ACTE organises events, conferences and meetings that serve as a platform for debate and exchange of ideas among professionals in the sector, as well as promoting joint projects among its members to foster regional development and international cooperation in the textile field.

SUSTAINABLE AND COLLABORATIVE TEXTILE INDUSTRY

As members of this network, we are committed to the mission of strengthening the textile industry, not only in Spain but throughout Europe.

The choice of our company as the first stop of this meeting is no coincidence. At Hilaturas Jesús Rubio S.A., we strive to maintain a standard of excellence and sustainability in yarn production.

The opportunity to show our facilities and processes to the ACTE representatives was an invaluable occasion to demonstrate how innovation and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand for the benefit of the textile sector.

During the visit, we were able to showcase our techniques and discuss the sustainable practices we have implemented. These exchanges are essential to foster a constructive dialogue on how the industry can evolve in a more sustainable and ethical way.

In addition, these discussions open doors to future collaborations, allowing us to explore new business opportunities and share knowledge that benefits all ACTE members.

This meeting also reinforced the idea that cooperation and exchange of ideas are fundamental to face the challenges of the global market.

At Hilaturas Jesús Rubio S.A., we are proud to have participated in this event and to be part of a network that is vital for the growth and innovation of the textile sector.

We say goodbye to this meeting with high expectations and with a renewed commitment to continue working for a more integrated and responsible industry. We are convinced that together we can create a lasting positive impact in our community and beyond.
